Darcy Elora Hofer
Executive Director
A Michigan native, Darcy began her career as a theatre professional at the Purple Rose Theatre where she worked side by side with Executive Director Jeff Daniels in various roles. She gave up a comfortable Equity stage managing career and moved to Chicago in 2004 to pursue a not-so-comfortable design career! Almost immediately she made her Chicagoland debut with Appetite’s production of The Years, and has been designing locally ever since. Now a company member, she is thrilled to have found her creative home.

Kyle Anderson
Company Member
Kyle Anderson enjoys working with his friends at Appetite. He is consistently impressed with the company's collective sense of artistry, vision, and cuisine. Kyle came to Chicago in 2003 to simultaneously pursue a career in lighting design and a hobby in improvisation. In addition to his work for Appetite he has worked as designers and electrician for many companies in Chicago, including The Vittum Theatre, Vitalist Theatre, and Shantz Theatre. Abandoning a life of temping in the Loop, he is now happy in his dream job of Stage Manager for Second City's Touring Company. In August of 2006 the lovely Becky Duncan married him, and now they both live happily together with their cat, Mr. Andrew Anderson.

Chris is honored to be a part of Appetite Theatre as an actor, company member, and resident wine diva. Recent credits include Waiting for the Parade at Illinois Theatre Center and Leaving Iowa.
